What is a twin launch?
Two coins created together. A is a normal pump.fun coin in SOL. B is a Meteora bonding-curve coin whose quote token is A, so B is priced in A instead of SOL. Their fees are cross-wired: A's fees buy and burn B, B's fees burn A.
Why would I buy B instead of A?
B is a leveraged expression of A. Its SOL price is (B/A) × (A/SOL), so when A pumps, B pumps mechanically — and B has its own curve on top. It is also the only side that A's fee stream buys. The flip side: if A drops, B drops harder.
Do I need to hold A to buy B?
No. The trade box does SOL → A → B in one signature. Under the hood you briefly hold A; it is swapped into B in the same transaction.
What happens to A’s creator fees?
They accrue in pump.fun's creator vault for the twin's loop key. The loop collects them, buys A, swaps it to B and burns the B. Every step is a public transaction listed on the twin's ledger.
What happens to B’s trading fees?
B's 1% fee is collected in A (quote-only fee mode). 80% goes to the loop key and is burned as A. 20% goes to the platform — that is our only revenue.
Is there a contract I need to trust?
No custom program. A's curve is pump.fun's, B's curve is Meteora DBC's. You trust those protocols plus the off-chain loop service, which can only claim fees, swap and burn — it cannot touch either pool's reserves, mint tokens or move locked liquidity. See the trust model.
Can the loop rug?
It cannot pull liquidity or mint. The worst it could do is stop running or keep fees instead of burning them, and both would be visible on-chain under the twin's loop address.
What is the sniper tax?
An optional Meteora fee schedule on B: 30% trading fee at launch, decaying exponentially to 1% over five minutes. It is enforced by the pool, so it hits bots trading directly against the program too.
When does B graduate?
When its curve has absorbed the configured amount of A (default 25M, 2.5% of A's supply). It migrates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool with 100% of the liquidity permanently locked.
What about A graduating?
A graduates to PumpSwap like any pump.fun coin. Trades then route through Jupiter and the loop keeps collecting PumpSwap creator fees.
Why is one of my trades two signatures?
Either a coin has graduated (the legs route through different venues) or the combined transaction didn't fit Solana's 1232-byte limit for your wallet's account set. The UI splits it automatically.
Can I launch a twin?
Launches are operator-signed for now because the pad wallet pays the creation transactions. Self-serve launches are on the roadmap. Reach out if you want a pair launched.
Which wallets work?
Any wallet-standard Solana wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others. Nothing is stored server-side about your wallet beyond the transactions you sign on-chain.
Is this financial advice?
No. Memecoins are extremely speculative and frequently go to zero. Read the risk disclosure.
